The main idea I can think of to use this is just as some sort of funny introduction. It might be fun if there is a book with a lot of dialogue to have the characters say the dialogue in that random robot voice. Also, it could be fun to have students make their own videos. Just would have to figure out a way to get around the need to buy publishing space.
There are a lot of lesson plans available to use. Even without the technology, the unit/lesson plans could still be used. It's nice that there are so many details - what grade level, how long it will take, etc.
